Blossom Winery was named one of BC’s Top 24 Exporters for 2006. This is quite an honour as we are the only winery on that list. Our International Award Winning wines are available through out North America and Asia. All our wines are put through a slow cool fermentation process that helps bring out the natural flavours of the fruit, whether it is grapes, blueberries or even raspberries. We welcome you to our tasting room to come experience wines that truly reflect the wonderful fruit of BC. – Description from mriskic

Blossom Winery on Snooth

  • David Franz Long Gully Road Semillion 2011

    Snoothrank:

AUD$25 direct from winery. Pale straw colour, with youthful aromas of green apple and lemon, and overtones of apple blossom musk. A dry, medium+ bodied wine, a high level of racy acidity which is matched by delicious Pink lady and Jazz apple-touched flavours, slight note of yeast with tangy lemon. An elegent, soft yet long-lingering finish. Sho... Read More

  • Zinfandel, it’s no secret that I’ve carried on a long and intimate relationship with you. There is so much you have to offer. Sometimes you're a bit rough and tumble, edgy, even dangerous, while other times you’re coy or playful. But you’re always there for me, with joyous fruit, classic bramble notes and structure, allowing for early consumptio... Read More

  • I was going to put this in the Whatcha Drinking Tonight thread. But since there was some Syrah talk going on I thought I'd start a new thread on Cool Climate Syrah.Tonight I'm visiting a wine I haven't had in since May and wanted to see how it is progressing. • So you can follow it on the other threads, but I was supposed to fly into New York for the dinner on November 2, but this storm thing messed that up--our cousin had to let his sister use the apartment when she lost power at her home in NJ.  Plus the airlines were saying I might not even get in, and they'd refund the miles.  It was going to be a ... • Well, I am headed back up to Amador County (plymouth, ca)  for wine tasting after several years.  It is not my first choice in wine regions, but a friend wants to visit.   I see, that in my absence, that several new wineries have popped up there.... and it is not still all Zin and Viogner.  I was doing some research, and it appears there are mor...
