Bloomer Creek Vineyard began 30 years ago as a daydream when Kim, then a nineteen year old Cornell Student, became enthralled with his part-time vineyard work on the west shore of Cayuga Lake. • Bloomer Creek Gamay Noir Finger Lakes 2006

A touch of earth and cherry on the nose. Earth continues through the palate, with some soft fruits. A deeper Gamay than many, more body, and some nice tannins on the finish (long finish). Actually, almost fleshy - like a Morgon Beaujolais Cru. Tasted at the winery. Read More

  • Bloomer Creek Cafe Red Finger Lakes 2006

Pepper and spice all round - starting with a pronounced nose of chilli peppers and white peppers. The peppers continue, although there's some green peppers too. Overall, despite the prior description, this is a soft wine with light tannins. Long finish on the tannins. A good picnic wine? Tasted at the winery. Read More

  • Bloomer Creek Pinot Noir Finger Lakes 2006

Very light in color. Strong aromas of raspberry and some nice earthyness. Strong Strawberry flavors dominate in the mouth. Overall a very light wine (a touch tight, but still young). A nice long finish on some very gentle tannins. Very nice. Tasted at the winery. Read More
