  • This is a very mysterious winery. We got 4 bottles of 2010 Pinot Noir through WTSO and love it - it's the lightest, cleanest, brightest Pinot on the market. Now it's a if their Pinot never existed - not online, and apparently their Lorenza-Lake Winery doesn't even have a website. Anyone know where I can find this wine?

  • I ordered four bottles of their 2010 Pinot Noir through WTSO and loved it. It was a total gamble but at $16/bottle I wasn't risking much. Now it's as if the Pinot Noir never existed - can't find it on Wine Searcher, no mention at our mega-discount liquor store Spec's, barely even exists. Apparently it comes from the Lorenza-Lake Winery, which I ...

Dusty red berry fruit with dried herbs and flowers.m letting iff some interesting notes of canned meat as well, but only in passing. Shows nice age in the nose, almost like a southern Rhone wine with soeme bottle age. On the palate, dusty savory herbs along with some dried red berry. Flavors of briary red raspberry, strawberry, some cranberry... Read More

  • Blockheadia Ringnosii Rock Pile Petit Sirah 2007

    Snoothrank:

Right now, it's an alcohol heavy bruiser of a wine. Pretty gnarly. Given time, it should open up and relax into a delicious, blueberry jam driven wine. Wait on this one.-Tasted with winemaker 9/20/09. Read More

Exquisite zin, but not in the usual, big jammy overripe style. Great complexity and notes come through in this wine that continued to evolve with each swirl and each sip. Awesome!-Tasted with winemaker 9/20/09. Read More
