Bedrock is an itsy-bitsy winery making wine in a converted chicken coop. Fruit from only the most excellent vineyard sites is hand pitch-forked into the destemmer, fermented in open top redwood and stainless vats using only native yeasts, and are manually basket pressed by winemaker Morgan Twain-Peterson into the sexiest oak from the coldest French forests. – Description from Alejandro

    Spicy nose. It may be alcohol. Funk blows off very quickly. Light red fruit on entrystrawberry is noticeable. Tannin is noticeable, but not nearly as much as the Carlisle OVZ that I had last night. Not the biggest zin youll ever have, but an easy everyday drinker.   • I'm of the mind that decanting is a good thing. Especially with aged wines. I've decanted young wines anywhere from an hour to up to seven hours just to see how the structure would differ. And I've done the side-by-side comparisons to justify my insanity. However, I do realize, as in with stemware, that this may be an extremely subjective topic.... Read More
