Read moreThe aromatics here are lean and sleek with nuanced floral and tar notes accented by a touch of raw oakiness though the sappy rosehip and rhubarb notes of fruit do add tot he mix. This has a lovely inner core of sweetness to the fruit but it is a bit lactic and vanilla toned. Quite polished and well balanced with excellent acidity and ripe tannins supporting the relatively long finish with it's clear tones of mint, mineral and slightly medicinal flavors. 92pts    (hide)
