  It tasted a little weird...I'm wondering if the bottle I had started to go bad..it had a watered down flavor with strong alcohol. A bit of a funky welche's grape juice essence.

  Aromas of blackberry jam, plums, vanilla, clove and violets rise from the glass. An amazing amount of layers on the nose. On the palette, full bodied, chewy blackberry with a floral and a slightly leathery medium finish. Not as fresh as my favorite Nebbiolo but with enough acidity... On the palette, full bodied, chewy blackberry with a floral and a slightly leathery medium finish. Matteo Correggia takes a different approach here by making a dry red table wine from the grape. This wine has one of the most interesting and unforgetable noses. Very seductive, it held on to its dessert wine headiness with aromas of perfume drenched cranberries. Quite light on the palate; it may be difficult to find a food that would highlight its uniqueness    (hide)
