Aver Family Vineyards LLC
In 2005 we were fortunate to find a magical 8.25 acre vineyard located in the beautiful Uvas Valley, located at the southern edge of Santa Clara Valley in northern California. It was originally named by the Spaniards for the wild grapes that thrived in the area. Nestled on the eastern slopes of the valley, we have a warming south-western exposure to ripen our grapes. In the evenings the cool coastal breezes and fog come over the southern Santa Cruz mountain range to cool the vineyard down. This allows for a long growing season with plenty of time for our grapes to fully develop their deep intense flavors. As a family-owned winery, our company mission is both personal and professional. We utilize sustainable, environmentally-friendly farming practices to grow outstanding grapes.
