Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, owners, Ed and Avra Schwab have spent the last 30 years following their passion and developing a premier location that produces high quality vinifera grapes. The established vineyard produces eight varietals; Chardonnay, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Nebbiolo and Malbec. Our over-riding philosophy is that great wines are made in the vineyards. We strive to be minimally invasive in the vineyard so that the vines, and the fruit it produces, will be naturally in balance. Whether it's the beautiful scenery, calm rural lifestyle, the right conditions for growing fine grapes, or all three, Virginia has been attracting wine enthusiasts and entrepreneurs since Thomas Jefferson’s time.
