Agree with Greg, this is not representative of the producer. Did you get any indication there might have been something wrong with this particular bottle (granted what you describe isn't representative of the usual flaws)...

Wow, unusual for such an acclaimed producer to show like this. What are some of your favorite Pinots?

This was a poor wine. Very acidic with harsh tannins and a long unpleasant after taste. I am tossing the rest of this bottle. I decanted this bottle for several hours and still have the same opinion.

Your Message... Too much acidity. I don't normally do this but I will toss the rest of this bottle.

Don't know the retail options in Denmark at all, and I assume all you can buy ... in recent years has been Au Bon Climat. Now, there's a lot of buzz around the pinots being grown on Sonoma's coast. Look for offerings...

Drinking today. Fruity and peppery give it nice balance. Not sure I should have held onto it this long. Smooth texture
