HDH is a good source for older bottles, although I haven't bought anything ... ... three bottles of 2011 Attilio Ghisolfi Barolo Bussia for $30 per from WTSO, with shipping delayed till October. The Visette bottling sees barrique, but this doesn't, and I read up on the producer in O'Keefe's book. (I do recommend it, although she's a little s... Read More
Perhaps we could use a place to share recent purchases...Here are some '12 Burlotto Langhe Nebbiolo, which came highly recommended from a trusted friend who just got back from a month in Italy. I'm not seeing many available in the States quite yet, but was happy to find these locally. Read More

Ghisolfi is a great producer with value offerings in Barolo, Barbera, etc. Not carried in many places in my experience. I know if 1 shop in Manhattan that consistently carries this producer and product: Garnet. Nice red fruit yo... Read More

We love both of these wines but they can be harder to find. For father's day I would like to find a couple of bottles of each. I would like to stay under $30. I did a snooth search and so many came up, I thought some of you could maybe help narrow it down. Any suggestions? Read More
