Arrow Creek wines capture the spirit of California – the freedom of open spaces, the rustic outdoors and the cherished casual lifestyle. Once the home of wild horses, the cool coastal influence on Arrow Creek ranch now provides perfect growing conditions for producing wines of intense fruit and supple finish. – Description from AlexJelena

  • Our friend, Outthere, has made us aware of the Historic Vineyard Society, and I, personally, have enjoyed reading about his experiences with the society, and his interactions with some of the producers who source from these vineyards.  Yesterday, Mrs. Emark handed me an article entitled "The Battle for America's Oldest Vines" that she had clippe... • It's not often that I have a plan. Well, a detailed plan at least.. Some sort of a plan not being a requirement for those in this business. But a detailed plan, and over-arching theme for a visit to wine country can certainly come in handy.  This month’s, or rather last month’s theme was, surprisingly enough: Zinfandel. I say surprisingly becaus... Read More

  • Pleasantly surprised! Delicate, but with an interesting final "woodsy" note. I was given this bottle as a gift, and while I'm unlikely to find it in my region, (sister-in-law shops over the border), I would purchase it if available.

    Snoothrank:

I have had two bottles. I enjoy wine, but I am no expert. I hesitated buying the first bottle, because I usually find pinot noir to be thin and delicate, but I decided to go for it because it was $8 marked down from $17. The first bottle was excellent. We were entertaining some out of town friends, and we had a discussion about how excellent... Read More

  • Arrow Creek Pinot Grigio

    Snoothrank:

Okay wine for around $9. Serve as a generic table wine. I expected it to be a little bit sweeter. Faint and forgettable, but not bad. Read More
