Arnot-Roberts was founded in 2001 in Healdsburg, CA by childhood friends, Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Lee Roberts. The focus is on small lot, vineyard designated Cabernet Sauvignons and Syrahs from some of Northern California's most incredible vineyards. Sites are carefully chosen and are generally on the cooler end of the spectrum for the planted varieties. Collaboration with dedicated and passionate growers is paramount in the farming of these sites. Duncan and Nathan grew up around winemaking in the Napa Valley. Nathan is a second generation cooper and personally builds all of the French oak barrels that are utilized in the ageing of all Arnot-Roberts wines. Visiting the forests in France each year and working in conjunction with the stave mills there, Nathan is able to select the premium lots of oak to bring back to California and assemble into the barrels for the coming vintage. Over the years Duncan has worked making wine in the Napa Valley in wineries like, Caymus, Groth, Acacia, Kongsgaard and Read more »

  • Here's a weekend wine... pricey but sooooo worth it!  We just were at Windy Oaks last weekend to pick up our wineclub.  Gorgeous day, we trekked to the top of the ridge again, and there was literally no sound except the wind in the oaks- sat up there in chairs- no one around.  It's funny how we become accustomed to white noise, but at that eleva... • I BYO when I dine out so I always get to drink something I enjoy. When presented with having to choose from a BTG selection I generally opt for a beer unless the restaurant has something unique. Like a nice Rosé starter. Spinster Sisters had an Arnot-Roberts Touriga Nacional Rosé BTG one night but that doesn't happen very often around here. For t... Read More

  • We made it home safe and sound with a few less dollars in our bank account but ... ... reminded me a lot of the Arnot Roberts we had with dinner the other night.  More on the creamy lemon side with medium acidity and nice complexity. There’s little to no oak but also it's not overly acidic, just an extremely tasty Napa chard. Now I thought ther... Read More
