  • Arnaldo-Caprai Montefalco Rosso 2010

Alone, this grape produces Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG. Blended with other grapes, it produces Rosso di Montefalco DOC. This wine is very intense ruby with purple reflections, the aroma is very persistent with typical accents of blackberries, plum and earth that are perfectly bound to the vanilla given by the wood. The taste is potent, smoo... Read More

  • Arnaldo-Caprai Sagrantino di Montefalco Passito 2006

This wine was spectacular! A very deep purple colour, but on the nose it was AMAZING! I just can't describe the aromas. Oil, sugar, blackberry, flowers.. it so complex you have to drink it to understand me. On the mouth it is the first sweet wine with integrated tanins.. OMG you just have to taste it.. Cheers! • Arnaldo Caprai Anima Umbra Rosso Sangiovese. Cannaiolo Umbria Montefalco 2006

Complex and interesting wine with good value. Nose of nail polish (volatiles), spice, hints of fruit, cooling air. Drying tannins, lively acid, and lots of mouth-coating red sour ripe fruit and spice and slightly bitter leather. Finished with pleasant deep sour fruit, mostly at the front of the tongue, framed by a nutty bitter hum and some wood. Read More
