Big and full-bodied with a velvety texture. Fruit-forward with flavors of berry and plum. Tannins fall somewhere in between moderate and firm to me. I have also tried the J Lohr Cabernet Sauvignon and surprisingly this Merlot was much bigger seeming than the cabernet. Read More
