  • Feudo Arancio Pinot Noir 2008

Sage, basil and cherries on the nose. Not overly complex, but there's a good spice here and a bit of cherry cola. Great value. Read More

  • Feudo Arancio Pinot Noir 2008

Sandalwood and cherries in the nose. Hint of vanilla, saffron, and cardamom. The mouth is well rounded, with big fruit that tapers off nicely into a smooth finish. More tannic than other pinots I've had lately. Read More

I keep gradebook-type ratings on the wines I drink, and this is the first wine to receive a "D" in my humble opinions. Overly tannic, not particularly flavorful, and literally hard to swallow. I brought the temperature down a bit, and that only ... Read More

  • Feudo Arancio Stemmari Nero d'Avola 2008

Beautiful cherry color, blueberry/bright cherry nose, and a great wild blueberry palate with just a hint of vanilla. Nicely integrated acidity, full midpalate, moderate tannins and a medium finish. Very elegant and well crafted. Read More

  • Feudo Arancio Nero d'Avola Sicilia IGT 2006

Very surprised with this one. Essentially, it's my go-to cooking vino, though it's not bad at all to sneak in a couple of glasses while working in the kitchen. Straightforward varietal expression of Nero d'Avola, with good structure, acidity and lovely, restrained sour cherry note with spice. Remember, never cook with a wine you would not like... Read More
