2007 Babich Marlborough
Earthy yet with good fruit this is a good value, entry level NZ Pinot

2007 Schug Sonoma Coast
Herbal with sweet fruit and a hint of funk in an easy styled package
http://www.snooth.com/wine/schug-sonoma-coast-pinot-noir-2007/
2006 Ponzi Willamette
Earthy and ever so slightly herbal tones compliment the raspberry fruit on this easy styled wine.

2006 Johan Willamette Valley
Big rich oaky and extracted this bowls one over with it's intensity. Not for me but if you like them BIG this might be for you!

2006 Stoller SV Dundee Hills
A spicy wine with oak driven notes of grilled meat, black pepper and cola. A touc too sweetly fruited but fresh and easy in the mouth. Worth trying again.

2006 Wild Horse Unbridled Santa Barbara County
Fruit bomb alert. I don't like fruit bombs but if you do this is the wine for you. Even though it's oozes fruit it's still well made and balanced.

2005 Alma Rosa La Encantada Vineyard St. Rita Hills
Oaky and candied this is a weird wine. I'm not sure I could actually drink this but tasting it was interesting.

2006 Schug Carneros Heritage Reserve
This is showing a bit of age but offers good complexity in a varietally correct, fresh package. Very well made and subtly attractive.

2006 Fiddlehead Oldsville Reserve Willamette
Ok so this has some fruit bomob character as well but so much more. It's electric in the mouth with great complexity on the nose that features all sorts of medicinal notes that really set off the fruit.

2006 Benton Lane First Class Willamette
This is a bit of a mess, extracted, oaky yet not really well flavored with dark coffee and tobacco notes dominating the palate.

2007 Antica Terra Willamette
This is a crazy wine with strong arugula, candied anise seed and medicinal notes on the nose but it works, setting off the subtle fruit perfectly. A really Burgundian, slightly funky style for the adventurous.

2005 Goldeneye Anderson Valley
This is an oak bomb. Where's the fruit? Wheres the appeal?
http://www.snooth.com/wine/duckhorn-goldeneye-pinot-noir-anderson-valley-2005/
2007 Roessler Bluejay Anderson valley
A junior fruit bomb this has tons of sweet fruit but is still balanced and bright.

2007 Roessler Hein Family Anderson Valley
This is a bit closed but has impeccable balance and is developing great depth and complexity already. Look to be super!

2006 Alesia Sonoma Coast
This is young but pure and balanced with nice tension in the mouth and wonderful aromatics.
http://www.snooth.com/wine/rhys-alesia-pinot-noir-sonoma-coast-2006/
2006 Roessler Griffin’s Lair Sonoma Coast
Big, round and soft but with sneaky strucutre to the roasted meat, cherry and oak spice core. Solid

2007 WillaKenzie Estate Cuvee Willamette Valley
This is sooo fresh, fun and delicious - and consistent. It's one of the best values in Pinot today!
http://www.snooth.com/wine/willakenzie-estate-pinot-noir-willamette-valley-2007/
2006 Antica Terra Willamette Valley
As good as the 2007 and more evolved and ready for prime time with a similar earthy, non fruit driven character that is compelling and not tiring to drink.
http://www.snooth.com/wine/antica-terra-pinot-noir-willamette-valley-2006/
2006 Roessler Brosseau Chalone
Earthy and a bit more masculine styled than most Pinots this will blossom with another year in the cellar.
http://www.snooth.com/wine/brosseau-2006/
2006 Roessler La Encantada Sta. Rita Hills
Superbly pure Pinot fruit in an elegant, seamless package with wonderfully bright and expressive fruit.

2007 Roessler Dutton Ranch Russian River Valley
Just classic Russian River Pinot with a powerful, mouthfilling palate and deep, earth and meat tinged dark cherry fruit. It’s a winner!
