Amoré Winery began in the spring of 2000 with our vineyard. While our vines were maturing, we undertook the major renovation of the barn next to the vineyard. Our winery opened in the spring of 2003. We now offer a wide range of varieties that are certain to match your desire and taste. Check our wine list page for a description of the wine selections we now have. – Description from JelaDragoljevic

  • "When the moon hits your eye/like a big pizza pie/that's amore."As we ate our breakfast on Sunday morning at the Imperial Hotel in Amador City, the soundtrack subtly changed.  Last night at dinner and halfway through breakfast, the soundtrack was from the same era, but Sam Cooke sent us, and Ray Charles warned us about women.  This morning, with... • That's Amore! Chianti

    Snoothrank:

This review is actually for their Merlot, but I did try the Chianti also awhile back. This brand is alright for 12 bucks a mag, just as good as the other crap that costs about the same. I would really like to get my sister and her fiancé a bottle of wine that can age for 25 years. So my questions are: What kind of wine (I don't even have a preference) and what is the most reasonable price range? I figure ... Read More

  • Adesso Cagnina di Romagna 2012

    Snoothrank:

I love this wine. For those who prefer sweet wines this is a great choice. Typically choices for sweets are Moscatos or Rieslings, and the reds are usually very sweet & fall in the category of dessert wines. This has just a touch of sweetness & goes perfect with a great steak dinner. Read More
