Amon-Ra is a wine produced by Ben Glaetzer at Glaetzer Vineyards in South Australia. The wine is named for the Egyptian god whose temple was the first to offer wine for its worshippers. The eye on the label is the symbol of Horus (wedjat, “whole one”), which ancient Egyptians used for protection. The six parts of the eye represent the six senses. Ben Glaetzer created the wine with all the senses in mind, hoping to appeal to each in their own way.– Description from Amanda Schuster
