Altamont Vineyard & Winery
Located on 24-acres in the Helderberg Mountains of Upstate New York, Altamont Vineyard and Winery produces small-batch, artisan wines made from French-American hybrid grapes grown on site.
The 12-acre vineyard is home to about 23 of these cold climate varieties created by leading research institutions like Cornell University and the University of Minnesota to survive in the harsh climate of Upsate New York.
The wines produced include fresh and crisp whites, dry reds with light to medium body and bright tannins and semi-sweet to fruity wines.– Description from AltamontVineyard
