Afton Mountain Vineyards is one of Virginia's pioneer farm wineries, with the oldest of our vines dating back to the 1970s. We make Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, of course, but we also make wines found at few other Virginia wineries—Gewürztraminer and Sangiovese. Since we opened our tasting room in May 1991, our Virginia wines have been recognized for their excellence at national and international competitions. Wine may be purchased online by adults. Please be aware that some states do not allow the direct shipment of wine to their residents, and delivery to these states is not available. To place an online order, please click here to e-mail us. – Description from Alejandro

  • Afton Mountain Vineyards Bollicine 2010

Italian for tiny bubbles, this is a gorgeous sparkling wine, even if the name is a bit of a misnomer for something prepared in the traditional methode champenoise. Extremely dry and effervescent, the strong presence of Pinot Noir adds a depth and complexity to the nose you wouldn't expect for the price. Read More
