Established on 1962, the Cooperative Wine cellar of Barcelos collected initially 51 vinedressers, having like principal objective stimulates the production and marketing of the wines to see in the districts of Barcelos and neighbors joined the sub-region of the Cávado and Bird. His founders, men who believe in the superior quality of the wines produced in the region, with an extraordinary will of getting a joint important strength in the production and marketing of the green wines that every time were produced by bigger quality. The partners' number was increased, reaching more than 600 vinedressers when it is representing a superior area 510ha.
