Adams County Winery, which first began operation in 1978, is a small farm winery located in Adams County, just eight miles west of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Nestled against the South Mountains, we have an ideal climate for growing grapes that, in turn, make our quality wines. Come visit us and enjoy free sampling in our tasting room. Take a tour of the winery, located in a 19th century Pennsylvania bank barn. Visit our gift shop, where you'll find our award-winning wines and wine-related products for sale. Your drive to Adams County Winery will wind you through apple, peach and pear orchards. Pack a lunch or purchase snack items in the gift shop, and enjoy a picnic away from the hustle and bustle, amid towering pines, vineyards and gardens. Can't get out of the country? Visit our Wine Shop at 25 Chambersburg Street (Route 30 West), in downtown Gettysburg. We are a husband and wife team who purchased Adams County Winery in the summer of 1998. Well as I got older and do not succumb to popular opinion I have found myself drinking and loving semi-sweet and sweet wine more and more. Why? Because it tastes good. I like to taste the grape and I like being able to swallow the wine without screwing up my face and... Read More

Naturally visiting a couple of wine regions in both countries will be part of... Read More
