This is best described as an easy drinking pleasant wine. Nice amount of spice with a clean finish. I didn't find the wine to be powerful, rather a little subdued and medium in body.Add winemaker's notes
Zonte's Footsteps is located at Langhorne Creek on the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia - one of Australia's oldest wine grape districts. The particular climate of the area ensures that the vineyards retain a natural acidity and Zonte's now produces a range of acclaimed wines including a dry rose, viognier, pinot grigio, verdelho, cabernet malbec, shiraz viognier and sangiovese barbera.

Seriously powerful red, but it has so much rich flavour in the mouth - without being overly spicy. Very high quality wine at a bargain price.
A real mouthful of smoky, tar-scented blackberry and licorice flavors - Great with spicy food
