Zolo Cabernet Sauvignon 2009
Member Review by shsim:
I had this as part of a Argentinian tasting at a local wine store. The smell for some reason reminds me of exhaust and fresh cut red pepper. Exhaust is probably an exaggerate, but that is not a good sign. This was fruit forward with decent tannins. Very young with notes of green pepper. A tad too much acid and an unwanted bitter finish. Add winemaker's notesZolo is one of the signature wines produced by Fincas Patagonicas and Bodega Tapiz in Agrelo, Argentina. Fincas Patagonicas is considered one of the most technologically advanced wineries in the country. Zolo wines are produced as high quality single varietal releases that showcase regional grapes such as Malbec, Torrontes, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Bonarda.
