Winemaker's Notes:

"While harvest rains may have caught out many, Olivier's Humbrecht biodynamicsoils were well prepared to soak it up and come out the other side into fineweather. This mercurial Hunnawihr Clos, in the shadow of the Vosges forestbenefits from cool, slow-ripening muschelkalk calcareous soils to give a lessonin limestone purity; still very young and taut, this dry wine (2 grams residualsugar) needs 5 years to open up." (David Berry Green - BBR Buyer)
