Winemaker's Notes:

92 points Wine Spectator: Intense, with a smoky, meaty character and grapefruit peel, dried quince and spice flavors. Big, dry and rangy, with some tannins adding to the structure. The finish picks up a salty, mineral element. Plenty of personality, but not for everyone. Drink now - 2012. 760 cases made. (10/15/06) Organic/biodynamic (not certified).
