There’s a hint of lychee to this white, with more typical flavors of yellow peach, honey and candied citrus peel. A strong vein of exotic spice runs through the wine, as does a laserlike acidity. This is a mouthful, with more layers and nuances at each turn. Should age beautifully. Drink now through 2025.

A rich Pinot Gris, with a pretty floral note and bright acidity enlivening flavors of dried papaya, apricot, honey, smoke and fleur de sel. This has good length and a lingering finish that echoes a lovely, juicy peach note. Drink now through 2018.

(14.6% alcohol, 29 g/l r.s. and 3.4 acidity; from young vines in Clos Windsbuhl) Pure, subtle fruit salad aromas lifted by stone. Very sweet and ripe, with good life in the mouth considering its low acidity (this went through ML). A fat style with modest nuance.

Winemaker's Notes:

This wine doesn’t betray its origin. The nose is already fully open, showing lots of honey flavours, citrus fruit, melon, apricots. The high ripeness of the grapes and presence of noble rot bring a small extravagant character, which is firmly controlled on the palate by the textbook acidity of the Windsbuhl. The finish is long, with a nice compromise between some sweetness and great structure.
