The annual cycle of work, parallel with cycle of nature, consists of a number of interventions, comprising biological treatments against the diseases and others aiming at improving the quality. mong the latter, the pruning is particularly decisive. Too severe, it prevents the harmonious development of the vine, insufficient, the vine will overproduce unripen grapes. A this moment, the presence of Paul’s grandson Pierre-Paul Humbrecht, is of utmost importance to the vineyard, to prune correctly and at the right time. Given unfavourable climatic conditions, the harvest may suffer but when the seasons flow normally the right pruning will be rewarded by a juice of very high quality. hen the vine has had its budburst, the disbudding (selection of branches) and desuckering (supression of the growths resulting from sucker from the trunk), are made manually to avoid any harmful effect to the vine. During the bloom, trimming consists in shortening the end of the branches leaving just the right quantity of good quality leafs that the young vine needs. During ripening, the stripping to improve the exposure of the grapes to the sun and thinning out the grapes in excess must be done with precision in order to obtain a harvest of great quality. orking the ground consists of several heavy duty work. This dry, tangy version offers a lot of the grape's signature rose petal and cream flavors, but is also infused with hints of curry spices and plenty of red grape fruit and candies pouring peel. Bright acidity crackles through to the lingering, smoky finish. Drink now through 2019.

There's good vibrancy to the acidity in this dry, tangy version, with lots of grapefruit and citrus peel up front. Finishes with the floral and white pepper notes typical of the variety. Drink now through 2012.

Pale medium-gold color. Expressive aromas of smoked meat, rose oil and cinnamon. Plump and spicy, with good ripe acidity and a chewy saline nuance. This is tactile and nicely concentrated, not to mention persistent, for a basic bottling.

This deeply colored dry white is loaded with layers of star fruit, grapefruit, rose, cream and spice, all underscored by a lightly smoky mineral element. The firm structure and defined acidity are filled in by the fleshy texture, with a lingering finish of white pepper and sweet fruit. Drink now through 2025.

Pale orange-gold. Aromas of pineapple, rose petal and orange oil, plus a suggestion of more exotic fruits. Creamy, spicy and rich, but with the brisk acidity and supporting minerality to support its considerable sweetness. The exotic fruit suggestions carry through on the palate, with a pepperminty note perking up the finish.

This is just off-dry, with honey and orange peel flavors wrapped around the yellow peach, hard candy and candle wax notes. A rich wine, but offers plenty of juicy acidity and zesty spice notes to provide balance. Delicious, with a very long finish. Drink now through 2025.

Lovely varietal character from highly acclaimed biodynamic winery Zind-Humbrecht. Perfumed with honeysuckle, baking spice and stone fruits, with an exotic palate of lychee, almond, pear, peach and apple pie. Long, beautiful finish.
