Zimmermann-Graeff Riesling Beerenauslese Ilbesheimer Herrlich 2001

Member Review by Kiwidon:

We had this wine in January 2011. Lusciously smoothly sweet, but not super sweet. Not cloying. Riesling notes easily perceived. Cork in perfect condition, no sign of cork taint. Donald, Thames, New Zealand.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
