Enjoyed the soft punch it had. I usually refer to a red zin as being powerful enough to punch you in the face. This one was a little softer.
Could stand a bit more depth, yet it has incredible fruit and is not too big.
What a nice surprise! Pulled this from the cellar thinking it would be well past its prime, but it was great. Light in colour for a zin, but it still had some great front-end fruit. After an hour it opened up more, and the finish really smoothed out. Wish I had more of this!
