Winemakers Notes

The 1994 vintage was a picture perfect one, giving extended "hang time" to produce fruit dark in color and rich in varietal character. This 100% Carneros Pinot Noir is showing the depth of flavor and richness expected from only the best of vintages. Around the clock punching during fermentation and 18 months barrel aging have intensified this rich wine to produce what we think is representative of our finest vintages. - Robert de Leuze, Winemaker
