Very good economicaly prosecco. We really enjoy it as a change of pace from non-sparkling whites. Also makes great bellinis.
This Sparkling Wine is a great bottle to have on hand. There is always a reason to celebrate and this bottle hits the spot. For a non champagne based wine it is full of appricot and apple fruit. Smaller size bubbles (which is what you want), and it has a great crisp finsish. It goes great with fresh fried calamari and chinese food!!! We always have it for New Years.
External Reviews for Zardetto Prosecco Brut
The NV Prosecco Brut is a richer, creamier wine than the Brut Cuvee Private. Here the fruit tends towards ripe yellow peaches, with flowers, spices and minerals that add complexity. The finish is long, generous and nicely balanced. This is Lot 1013708. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2012.
Bright straw-yellow in color with an elegant and finely textured perlage, Zeta offers layered aromas of orange blossom, lemongrass, peach and tropical fruits.
This is a popular and trustworthy Prosecco brand that delivers stone fruit, lemon zest, crushed sage leaf and a vitamin-mineral note at the back. There is enough complexity and crispness here to guarantee this as an anytime, anywhere wine.
The NV Prosecco Brut shows noticeably more character as its bursts from the glass with an engaging array of aromas and flavors. It comes across as generous and expansive on the palate, with excellent length and lovely harmony. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2009.
Zardetto Private Cuvee Prosecco Its awfully hard to find a better value in bubbly than the crisp sparking wines of Italy’s Veneto, most notably Prosecco, a wine that has seen its popularity explode in recent years. Zardetto is among the most consistent producers of the region. The NV Brut Cuvee Private is a new entry-level wine from Zardetto that blends Chardonnay and Muscat with the Prosecco grape. It is an easygoing, floral wine with pretty notes of white peaches and good balance.
Crystal clear with a white froth and a fine perlage, offers fresh, fragrant aromas of peach, citrus and tropical fruits.
