medium bodied, easy drinking, well balanced. dark berry and raspberry flavors. Great value especially when you get it for 1/2 retail price.

Tasting Notes - Each grape adds its own nuance: Grenache adds rich raspberry flavors; Mourv dre brings notes of blueberry; Syrah, flavors of blackberry and ripe tannins and a touch of Cinsaut s dusty berry notes. These layers of flavor enable this wine to pair with a wide variety of foods from mushroom pizza to rosemary crusted leg of lamb. I picked this up after reading the wine list in a good quality local restaurant when by myself with nothing to read, and because I like the sound of this blend, like a Côtes du Rhône. 59% Grenache, 23% Mourvédre, 15% Syrah, and 3% Cinsaut. It seemed sugary at first with curry, but it paired better with the mild stir-fry the next night.
