What to Expect

Oregon has only recently emerged as a source for premium wine and is winning fans over to their somewhat earthy style of Pinot Noir. With vineyards a bit cooler than most of California's, yet warmer still than Burgundy, Oregon's Pinot Noirs feature a synthesis of ripe fruit, ripe structure and transparency that draws on the strengths of both. The wines tend to have a touch of earthiness and a sense of transparency that many Pinots from California lack yet the fruit profile, full of dark berries, is decidedly warm-climate in nature.

It has a bright fruitful taste with a flat ending. Colors are clear and crisp. Not sure I would buy this again.

This is a solid Oregon Pinot Nior, it shows that Oregon can produce well made Pinot, however it isn't the best I have had from there. The body is full and the nose has nice aromas, very fruity.

I would keep a few around for people who like Pinot Noir.

Clear and vibrant, this wine has a beautiful dark color and aromas of mixed berries, earth, smoke, violets, Asian spices and minerals. In the mouth, the wine mirrors the aromatics with a succulent texture and good acidity. As the finish unfolds, the individual characteristics of the wine unify and augment one another. Beautifully balanced between richness and power, the wine possesses amazing depth and purity. Classically proportioned while being built with long term potential, the concentrated A to Z Pinot Noir will be perhaps the longest lived wine we have made

This is my everyday pinot. Very easy to drink, and a reasonable price.
