Yorba Tempranillo Amador County 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

Ann Kraemer (former grower for Cain, Shafer, Paul Hobbs and Calera) once again has produced some superior fruit from her vineyards located in Amador County. Winemaker Ken Benards (of Anicen Winery) says the Yorba Tempranillo is positioned on an east-facing slope, protected and sheltered. Quiet and undemanding, the vines are well balanced with beautiful structure. Our Spaniard is indeed content with its home in the Sierra Foothills. Raspberry, dark chocolate aromas tango with spicy blackberry brambly flavors and a long tantalizing finish. Only 202 Cases Produced!!!
