Yllera Vendimia Seleccionada Castilla Y Leon Premier 1999

Winemaker's Notes:

Classic Spanish red wine. Great complexity on the nose, with hints of ripe fruit with aromas of vanilla, licorice, spices, and balsamic notes. Very soft and velvety mouth. The finish is round, elegant, and harmonious. This is great wine for Winter. It pairs well with stews, game dishes, and red meat.

My misses is very particular in what wine she likes and this wine by far is her favorite . The taste is perfect as it as plenty of flavour and a very nice sweet wine. it is not at all dry and goes with any meal and great for also cooking with. the price for this wine when purchasing in spain is around  6 euro from most supermarkets . Fully recommended. My next goal would be to visit the area where the wine comes from and learn more and to try more of there wines. Read less
