Alas I cant always afford good wine This very sweet cabernet sauvignon (2010) had an aroma of rubbing alcohol. There were plenty of unnatural fruity notes - cherry and what seemed like strawberry flavoring. There could be some added sugar too. Add some club soda and this could be a wine cooler. It's still drinkable, but that is the best I can say for it.
i've been hoping to find a rosé that's not sweet. this yellow tail is nice, and even though i don't really taste the cherries, as suggested, i do like it. i get more tart apple, something i very much like in my sauvignon blancs. will try again. decent choice for my budget.
Pours a very dark red. Smell of berry and currant. Very dry finish. Really not much to this wine at all. Nothing special at all.
