Yellow Tail Shiraz 2015
For a wine that you can find for $5-6 it is a great bargain. It has a sweet berry fruit backbone with some oak/vanilla and herbal characters to it. It is great with BBQ, burgers or pasta. I have only had the 2013 vintage. It is a good cheap table red. I have paid $10 or $15 for a lot worse.
Nothing wrong with this budget bottle: packed with ripe fruit and full body.
I didn't like this. It was too aggressively spicy with little complexity.
wonderful aroma, to powerful a taste, buttery.
Simply one of the worst wines one can purchase. It's simple, obnoxious flavour refuses to soften over time, even with decanting. Although cheap, it's worth it to spring a little more for a bette wine.
I did not like this, a little to harsh i like something smoother
Best Home in the sofa wine ever. So soft, smooth and fruity. deep dark reed in color.

A rich colour and deep hue introduces your nose to a ripe and rich flavour. A cracked pepper and spice nose is blended with vanilla and fruit ripeness. The vanilla softness on the nose takes you into a ripe palate crammed with weight and soft, sweet oak length.

zxOpens with ripe cherries and strawberries, with a spicy core and rich vanilla notes on the finish. A well-balanced, earthy finish with warm lingering fruit.

The Reserve line from Yellow Tail represents solid value in its particular idiom. The 2008 Shiraz is well endowed with fruit, accenting the cassis and blueberry flavors with hints of cedary oak. While it remains essentially a simple, fruity quaff, itrsquo;s richer and more textured than many Shiraz in this price range.
The Casella family founded a winery in Italy in the 1820s and then started anew in 1965, after migrating to Australia. Today, its Yellow Tail is the largest-selling import label in the U.S. While most of the brand tends toward sweetness, the Reserve range is drier. Grapes for the Shiraz Reserve are personally selected by managing partner John Casella from parcels in prime regions like McLaren Vale and Clare Valley. The 2004ndash;2005 growing season was nearly ideal, with moderate temperatures producing ripe but structured wines.
