Round, velvety and mouthfilling, this is a satisfying Merlot at a bargain price. Aromas of black cherries and herbs fold in hints of cinnamon and mocha, while the flavors are generally fruity, but with a slightly tomatoey note. Soft on the finish.
Bright and juicy, offering a lively mouthful of red berry and blackberry flavors, shaded with hints of tobacco and cream. Finishes with a light grip of tannins.
Light and silky, with pretty currant and savory flavors competing for attention. Drink now.
The opaque eggplant hue of this stunning value promises much - and what's in the glass delivers. Prominent oaky notes are layered over plum and high-toned floral aromas. Dense and voluptuous on the palate, with chewy tannins, this is a seriously ambitious wine that could benefit from a year or two in the bottle.
