Nutty-brambly aromas and red fruit on the nose lead to plum and black raspberry fruit on the palate. There's some caramel flavor here, but it's not as prevalent as it has been in other wines by this brand. Flavors are a little bright overall, but it's still a good value.
Like a cassis candy wrapped in vanilla-scented chocolate, this is a tasty red for a crowd, a bargain-priced party pour.
