Rich dark ruby red in colour, the Yarra Burn Cabernet Sauvignon displays classic tobacco leaf characters married with fruit aromas of darker plum and blackberry with hints of strawberry. The palate is quite savoury and complex with a fine elegant tannin structure. Ripe plum, and hints of spice are apparent on the palate. A rich vibrant wine displaying complex and generous tannins with a cool, long and silky finish. This wine will improve with careful cellaring for up to 6 years. The Yarra Burn Cabernet marries superbly with savoury or lightly spicy dishes such as Italian sausages with fennel or coq au vin.
