Grenache is the main grape in many Rhone blends and most Cotes du Rhone and Chateaunuef-du-pape. Sourced from The Beach vineyard with vinesplanted in 1946 in sixty-million-year-old maslin sands. This wine exhibits incredibly rich and intense flavors of dark fruits with velvety tannins, and with an inviting perfume offresh roses. A consistent performer over the years, Yangarra's Grenache is one of the rare examples that appears to have the stuff to improve for two or three years.
