Floral with dried apricot and lemon cream. It is not spicy but has some heft and leaves with a slight astringency. Cries out for food.
Looking for a different white. Try a Viognier. It has a good balance between lemon and pineapple flavors. Usually bigger than most whites so it stands up well to winter cuisine.
Good with spicy foods
Had the wine with scallops and then a cheese platter. Very fresh taste and wonderful on a summer day
