Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Wine Advocate ReviewThe 2005 Grenache Bush Vine exhibits classic strawberry, frambois, licorice, and pepper aromas, medium body, dusty tannin, and enough spice and fruit to last for another 2-3 years.Wine Tasting NotesYalumba Barossa Bush Vine Grenache is dense in color with purple hues. The wine shows a great depth of Barossa regional character, opening with delicious earthy red fruits, quickly followed by seductive fruit aromas of black cherry and mulberries, finishing dark and brooding. The palate is dense, ripe and simply bursting at the seams with layers of silky textures of toffee apple, blueberry and anise around a chunky core of super vine seamless tannins. A terrific wine to drink now but one that will just get better and better in the cellar over the medium term.
