Food Pairings for Yacochuya Malbec Yacochuya
THe first time I had a Yacochuya was in 2004 at a restaurante. As dinner was paid by the company, someone sugested it. I felt in love with it. In 2007 I went backpacking to Salta, Argentina and bought a bottle from 2003. Literally crossed the country with that wine in my back. After that I gave it a good resting time in a cellar in Buenos Aires. Recently visited the city again and brought it with me to the UK. Drinking it was like making love for the first time with someone you've been in love for ever.
<p>Yacochuya Malbec 2003 is a dark, opaque purple color with an intense nose and medium body. It's aromas include ripe plum, spice and light toasty oak which lead to a palate of dark fruit, roasted meat and vanilla. This wine has good structure and a long finish.</p>
