Nose
Shiraz characters of light raspberry and floral notes add
vibrancy to the nose. Smoky oak and slight tobacco
aromas linger on the edge.
Palate
Cabernet flavours of mulberry and red currant are more
apparent on the palate, adding to the length. Fresh
oregano, spice plum and a savoury finish come from the
Merlot. The even ripening in 2003 has lent a finesse to the
tannins which makes this an approachable young wine,
with the ability to age gracefully in the medium term as well.
