Food Pairings for Wynns Coonawarra Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Coonawarra John Riddoch
Dark rich colour. A complex amalgam of dark chocolates, cedary oak and dark bramble notes. An entwined layering of cassis with violets on the palate, tobacco and dark chocolate are balanced by a classic assortment of cedary spice and savoury nuances framed by velvety fruit tannins. John Riddoch always expresses the virtues of Coonawarra Cabernet, dark berries and violet scents, freshly crushed mint and lavender florals entering into the fray. Layers of dark plum and cassis are framed by dried herb, an inseparable integration of oak exhibiting smoked meats and spice. Fine grained tannins are long and solid, a memorable experience immediately upon release, yet renowned for it's cellaring potential.
