This Pinot Noir has bright cherry fruit, spice and great freshness making it very food friendly and versatile.

Earthy ripe currants, strawberries and spicy notes make up this fragrant, medium-bodied wine. You'll note some acidity and ripe tannins. Expect a plush mouth-feel. Pair with Salmon.

CaliforniaWyatt Pinot Noir is a beautiful red wine gem from California, sourced from several top Pinot growing areas, primarily from the Central Coast with 75% of the blend coming from the appellation. In addition there is 21% Carneros from the Napa side as well as a small percentage of Sonoma Coast which gives the wine wonderful spice and good structure. In a true Burgundian spirit, the wine was made with 25% whole clusters, and was aged for 10 months in about 10% new French oak. Robert Parker called this wine "a strikingly good Pinot Noir for its price." We agree!Wyatt Pinot Noir is dark garnet red in color. On the nose the wine has lovely aromas of wild strawberry, red plum, cherry and rhubarb, with a lovely savory earthy quality intermingled with the fruit. On the palate, the wine is medium weight, with just enough structure from the stems to balance the forward fruit. 3400 cases produced.Wyatt Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with grilled salmon, roast pork, fried chicken, pastas and cheese.
