A very nicely balanced wine: perfectly ripe tropical fruit flavors, with just a hint of oak at the fringes, buoyed by clean, fresh acidity. Choose this wine if you need something to set the mood for a light dinner.

Winemaker's Notes:

The 2010 Wyatt Chardonnay in another in a line of clean, Macon-inspired wines. For the blend, we combined fresher, brighter Chardonnay from Mendocino with a slightly broader, rounder cuvée from Lodi, both 100% tank-aged. To round it out, we added about 20% of barrel-fermented Chard from a top producer in the Russian River Valley. The result is a clean, apple/pear-scented wine with a nice texture and good balancing acidity.
