Though a native of Portugal and most recognized for its vinification of “Madeira,” Verdelho has become one of Australia’s niche white wine varieties. The Woop Woop incarnation of the variety is a fresh, unoaked wine style with wonderful fragrance on the nose, tropical fruit richness through the palate and with a crisp finish.
